Attention up-and-coming filmmakers from Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein: You have until 10 May to apply for the Screen Talent Europe Pitching Forum 2024. The event will take place on 12 and 13 June in Grimstad, Norway.

Prerequisites for participation

  • You have already realised at least two short films as Executive Producer/Author/Director.

  • You are currently developing a feature film or documentary project with a maximum length of 20 minutes.

  • You come from Hamburg or Schleswig-Holstein.

  • You are between 22 and 32 years old.

  • You have time to take part in the preparation workshop and the events during the Pitching Forum.

The deadline for submissions is 10 May, and you will find out whether you have been selected for the Pitching Forum by 16 May at the latest.

The Pitching Forum will take place during the Norwegian Short Film Festival (12-16 June) in Grimstad, Norway. A total of 12 emerging filmmakers from all over Europe will present their projects to a jury and the attending audience. The pitching event is scheduled for Thursday 13 June, preceded by a mandatory preparatory workshop on 12 June. Travel, accommodation and meals will be covered by the MOIN Film Fund from 11 to 14 June 2024 (including arrival and departure days). Selected participants must also take part in an online preparation session on 6 June.

Participants are also invited to various networking activities, such as a boat trip on the Norwegian fjords and dinner together.
